 This week we our focus for reading was reading a book in te reo on how to make fruit kebabs

Called kepapa huarakau we had to record ourselfs reading this book and then insert it into our choice board.

 This week we had to answer a different set of questions than last week this time we had to do 10 tricky question that we didn't now and write the definistion next to them.

Mahinga kai crusaders

Walt: Find out about mahinga kai and what two men are doing to keep it alive
Walt: Compare te two approaches to keeping mahinga kai alive

- Summarise the main ideas
- Identify the differences between the two
- Reflect on which approach I like best

The differences between the two men are karl takes a direct approach and simon uses the internet.

I like Simons best because his approach can connect wiht more people and can help others learn about mahinga kai from the comfort of their own home.

What I found cool about this book was that the boy was only 9 years old and he was riding his bike further than I ever have and I'm 11 so that is pretty impresive  for a 9 year old.
