PLASTIC

Plastic is everywhere and quickly becoming huge problem on Earth. Single use plastics such as straws, plastic bags, bottles, glad wrap are handy to have, but severely detrimental to our planet. Our ‘throwaway’ culture is a major pollution problem. Plastics end up in our landfills, rivers or in the ocean becoming a major hazard, choking our marine life.  We may use them for only seconds….BUT it takes hundreds of years (roughly 500) for them to break down. So, how can we reduce its impact on the planet?
